Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and directives related to their operations and products/services provided to Høst.
Suppliers must not engage in any form of corruption, bribery, extortion, embezzlement, or other unethical business practices.
Suppliers are expected to adhere to fair business practices and competition laws.
Suppliers must respect intellectual property rights and safeguard Høst’s confidential information and data privacy.
Suppliers must not use forced, bonded, indentured, or child labor. The employment relationship must be voluntary.
Suppliers must treat all employees with dignity and respect. There must be no discrimination, harassment, or abuse.
Suppliers must comply with legal requirements regarding working hours, wages, overtime, and benefits.
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy work environment for their employees, minimizing the risk of accidents, injury, and exposure to health risks.
Suppliers should implement effective environmental management practices to minimize their environmental impact and promote sustainability.
Suppliers are encouraged to use resources efficiently, including water, energy, and raw materials, and to engage in recycling and waste management practices.
Suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations regarding waste disposal, emissions, and hazardous materials.
Suppliers are encouraged to contribute positively to the communities in which they operate.
Suppliers must commit to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone, regardless of gender, has equal opportunities to succeed, contribute, and thrive.
Suppliers must respect human rights and avoid complicity in human rights abuses.
Suppliers are expected to regularly monitor their compliance with this code and to provide evidence of compliance upon request.
In case of non-compliance, suppliers are required to take prompt corrective actions.
Suppliers should provide mechanisms for their employees to report ethical or legal concerns without fear of retaliation.
